The bridge, which has four traffic lanes and two bike lanes, spans 4,260 feet across the Mississippi River. The Clark Bridge was named after William Clark who, with Meriwether Lewis in 1804, commanded the two year 4,000 mile exploration of the Louisiana Purchase territory up the Missouri River into the Pacific Northwest.

Daniel Boone Home & Boone Campus of Lindenwood University
1868 Hwy F, Defiance, MO
Tel: +1 636 798 2005

The Historic Daniel Boone Campus and Boonesfield Village are likely to impress visitors not only with the size of the home but also the scope of the village that is coming to life behind it. The village has expanded to include over a dozen other 19th-century structures, including a chapel and schoolhouse. The Boone home, nearly 200 years old, is large even by today's standards. It rises four stories -- counting a kitchen and dining room in what might be considered a basement -- with limestone walls that are 2 1/2 feet thick. The home has seven fireplaces and a ballroom on the top floor.
